The joys of summer

When I was outside gardening today (yes, it happens occasionally) I noticed that we had a lot of ripe raspberries so when Ian got home from daycare we went out to pick some. At first I told him we couldn't eat them til we got back inside but once he decided he was going to just take them off of the bush and eat them right there I decided it was best to just let him eat out of the basket. He was smashing them before he picked them and of course raspberry bushes have thorns. Ah well...he had a great time and got a nice snack.
